Founder and associates

Hidepark21 Publications were founded by Médéric L. Pascal. He was very soon joined by his friends and now associates William I. Brown and Richard Maloyan.

For history records...

Hidepark21 Publications was founded 14^th July 2005. It has the rare priviledge to gather senior editors who share views and taste for writings with mostly a philosophical content, but to no exclusion of other centres of interest. The company's purpose is to offer premier quality services to idea authors and readers who seldom find them for the so-called reason that there is no market for ideas. Editors at Hidepark21 Publications believe this is a complete misconception. First there are a great many people highly interested in enlarging their intellectual or spiritual horizons. Secondly the common reasoning at the origin of there being no decent publisher for idea-papers appears to be that there is no market-place because there is no market. We would rather believe that there is no market because their is no market-place... Thirdly, and lastly for all well ordered reason proceed in three steps [light chuckles here...], there being ultimately neither market nor market-place should not be a definitive reason for giving up the ideal of general and unhindred circulation of ideas and knowledge. Let Hidepark21 Publications be either a market-place or a non-market-place !

Sector of activity

Hidepark21 Publications was originally designed as publishing company mostly dedicated to the edition of confidential contemporary productions, mainly papers in the philosophic field. It has broaden its offer, however, taking advantage of the possibilities offered by the multimedia format that has been chosen for its development. A weekly review oriented in direction of the specific issues brought up in the discussion-group the Kierkegaardians has now quite taken its cruising pace. Other specific field platforms have been launched, with the Epistemology Circle on the one hand and The International Relation square on the other hand. Further developments are in discussion at the board but for the time being it has been decided to wait and see how our vessel its doing in its current configuration.
